    Forest biodiversity conservation program in natural forest;

    Forest land/cover changes;

    Using remote sensing and GIS for spatial economics;

    Payment for ecosystem services program in degraded fields;

    Optimal timber rotations in forest management.

                            EDUCATION BACKGROUND

                          2006.09-2009.06: Ph.D from Department of Forestry, College of Forestry, Beijing Forestry University. Majoring in Forest Management, especially focusing on multiple-use of uneven aged forest. Title of Ph.D. dissertation: Dynamics of forest succession and restoration strategies for degraded spruce-fir forest in Changbai Mountain.

                        2003.09-2006.07: M.Sc. from College of Forestry, Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University. Majoring in Forest Management. Title of M.Sc. thesis: Ecological security evaluation for Minjiang Yuan natural reserve and local community.

                        1999.09-2003.07: B.Sc. from College of Forestry, Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University. Majoring in Forestry. Title of M.Sc. thesis:. Selection and error analysis for the Angle Count sampling in different age-class Chinese-fir plantation forest.
